My Career History

On the outskirts of downtown Reno, back in 68′, in a small smoke-filled dank casino; my dad won me and a carton on Benson & Hedges menthol cigaretts playing a high-stakes hand of Texas Hold’em.

Growing up in a quaint quite suburb, my neighborhood mates and I walked to school for 10 years until I got my first car which offered a myriad of new adventures and convience. We were able to go to Burger King for lunch during High School, drive ourselves to Lake Tahoe on the weekend, and take road trips in summer!

With a car comes the need for insurance and gas, which in turn requires money, which in turn requires a job. So at 16, I found myself employed at Alberston’s as an illustrious courtesy clerk, aka bag boy. Soon after, I began working for Sierra Trading Post. From helping to sort the first batch of catalogs by postal code, taking orders by hand, packing boxes, to filling out the shipping logs; I was there at the start. The internet was just starting, AOL discs were mailed to people’s homes by the millions, and SEO didn’t exist…
